Why did I land on Light when I signed in?

SBB Light is now where everyone starts, while we keep improving it with your feedback. Your books are exactly the same — Light and the full dashboard are two views of one set of records.

Where is the full dashboard?

Full dashboard at the bottom of the sidebar, or search for Full dashboard. It has everything it always had: charts, forecasts, the AI brief and every module.

Is anything missing from Light?

Light covers what most businesses do every day. A few specialised screens (payroll, HR, NGO grants, the accountant tools) open in the full dashboard, and pages such as Bills, Ledger and Settings are the same screens you know, inside Light's layout.

I cannot find Branches in the sidebar.

Press Ctrl+K and type branches. Stock transfers is there too. We kept them out of the sidebar because it was getting crowded.

Does Light work on my phone?

Yes. The sidebar sits behind the menu button, action buttons shrink to icons, and sheets and filters scroll sideways where they need to.

Why do I only see one branch's numbers?

You have been given access to one branch. The home, sheets and Kiongozi all show that branch. The owner can change this on the Branches page.

Will Kiongozi change my books on its own?

No. It drafts, you confirm. Every change is a card with a Confirm button, only the owner can confirm, and confirmed entries can be undone.

Why does WhatsApp open without the customer's chat?

The customer has no phone number saved, so WhatsApp asks you to pick the contact. Add their number on Customers and the next message goes straight to them.

Print does nothing.

Your browser blocked the print window. Allow pop-ups for the site, then press Print again.

Why are my shilling and dollar totals separate?

Different currencies do not add up to one meaningful number, so Light shows each currency on its own — switch between them on sheets that have more than one.

My streak reset. Why?

A day passed with nothing recorded in the books. The streak counts any entry — a sale, an expense, a payment — and today counts as soon as you record the first one.

How do I give feedback about Light?

Open the full dashboard and use Help in its top bar to reach support, or visit the help centre. We are improving Light continually, and what you tell us shapes it.
